Refund policy

Returns

To initiate a return, please log into your account. Items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for store credit, exchange, or a full refund to your original payment method (excluding shipping fees). Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, as well as any applicable customs or duties. Returned items must be in their original, clean, and undamaged condition.

Starting August 1, 2025, a 25% restocking fee will apply to most baby gear items to cover the labor and costs of inspection, cleaning, sanitizing, repackaging, and inventory management. This fee will not be waived for reasons such as buyer’s remorse or a change of mind.

This policy applies only to purchases made directly from our online store. Stickers and gift cards are final sale and cannot be returned.

To initiate a return, please complete the following steps:

  1. Keep the box your product came in, peel off the old shipping label and reuse the box for return!
  2. Login to your account with the email you used to purchase.
  3. Locate your order and request a return. 
  4. Print the return shipping label.
  5. Send all items back to us using the label provided.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the return was approved or declined. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10-15 business days minus the cost of return shipping, duties and taxes. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at hello@chikiroo.com.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
